The CPAN Leaderboard as an arcade game High Score screen

The CPAN Leaderboard shows CPAN authors ranked by the number of modules — but use this with care as it doesn't say anything about the quality of one author's distribution.

If CPAN was an arcade game, its high score screen might look a bit like this:

Nice!

When I was a kid, I couldn't put my initials into video games like most kids, because there was only room for three letters, so I always put RIK. That's also why I write "Rik" instead of "Rick" for my shortened name. And now you know!

My initials are AJK (The J is for Jon, but we can get into the issues of being named Jon Kennedy some other time) which was always annoying for me because my parents named my younger sister Alison Jane.

Which means that two of the three siblings shared an identical set of initials, effectively denying them to both. It also made getting mail for "A J Kennedy" a bit of a lottery.

And now you know!

I would appreciate more visual materials, to make your blog more attractive, but your writing style really compensates it. But there is always place for improvement
